I met Leilani in 2018, her mother Violet introduced me to her. I was 3 months pregnant at the time and Leilani would always ask me about my baby. She was very mature for her age. I never cared what others mentioned about her. I thought she was very kind and beautiful. She was goofy and always made you laugh even if you weren’t in the mood to. She helped me a lot at that time, she always offered to cover a shift for me if I was ever feeling sick or asked if I was feeling okay. She always talked about her family, and how they were so important to her. For the short time I spent with her, it felt as though I’ve known her my whole life.
